Muhammad Omer v. Higher Education Commission

Researched, drafted and filed a writ petition seeking validation of the Dual Degree Program offered by COMSATS University (Pakistan) in collaboration with the University of Lancaster (UK), by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan and the Pakistan Engineering Council. This successful writ concerned the future of over 2,600 graduates.

NTDC v. Competition Commission of Pakistan

Researched, drafted and filed a writ petition challenging the constitutional vires of the CCP.

SECP winding-up petition

Researched, drafted and filed a first-of-its-kind winding-up petition in Pakistan on behalf of the SECP. The winding-up was sought against a multinational cosmetics company on the grounds of practicing multi-level marketing, which required a detailed analysis of complex laws.

UBL v. Nasir Bashir Malik & others

Both cases involved an international banking and financial scam through which a handful of fraudsters were able to siphon off PKR 18 crore from the bank. After studying the cases in detail we researched the respective points of law, drafted petitions and filed the cases.

NTDC v. Trust Investment Bank Ltd.

The company responsible for maintaining the national electric grid of Pakistan and procuring heavy transformers had invested PKR 200 million of taxpayer money with a distressed financial institution. Having thoroughly researched the case, we developed a new approach to claiming the funds that led to expeditious recovery of the liquid investment.
